Garden Grounds Closure - CA Executive Order

As of Friday, March 20th, the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is closed to visitors in accordance with California Executive Order N-33-20 which calls for Californians across the state to "stay home" for the preservation of public health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information, please read this Message from our Executive Director.

This closure includes:

      • Garden grounds on both sides of Mission Canyon Rd.

      • Garden Shop and Garden Growers Nursery.

Cancellations/Postponements include:

      • All classes, tours, and in-person programs are postponed through April 29.

      • Santa Barbara Beer Garden has been cancelled.

      • Spring Plant Sale has been postponed.
