Alan PrichardAlan Prichard is an avid Santa Barbara Botanic Garden volunteer and geology enthusiast. He has been scrambling across the foothills and mountains of Santa Barbara for 50 years, and has strived to understand the complex geologic forces that have created the Santa Ynez mountains. Alan has assisted Suzie Bartz for the past year on her Geology walks, and is fortunate to receive consultation from Tanya Atwater, professor emeritus of Geology at UCSB.
