Now in its seventh season, the Santa Barbara Beer Garden is a wildly popular event hosted by the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden to support our environmental education, conservation and research, and native plant horticulture programs.

Join us for an afternoon of music, food, and one-of-a-kind beers uniquely paired with picturesque locations throughout our historic gardens.

Grand Cru Experience

Enhance your Beer Garden experience with exclusive access to a private pre-party that includes food by the highly-anticipated Cuyama Buckhorn and drinks by the Good Lion, Apiary Ciderworks and Meadery and brewLAB. Grand Cru opens at 11:30 AM.

Tickets:

Q: Are tickets available at the event?

A: No, tickets will NOT be available at the event. Pre-registration is required for admittance onto Garden grounds. This event does sell out. Grand Cru tickets go on sale Tuesday, January 28 at 10 AM. General Admission tickets go on sale Tuesday, February 4 at 10 AM. 

Q: Do we need a paper or e-tickets for admissions?

A: No, we will have your name at the gate. Please provide the name you used for registration at check-in for admittance. All guest names are required to be provided to the Garden through our ticket website. NO physical tickets will be mailed or emailed.

Event:

Q: What does admission include?

A: Admission includes unlimited tastes of craft beer from our local beer vendors, foods of various shapes, sizes, tastes and dietary restrictions from local food purveyors and a commemorative glass for both General Admission and Grand Cru ticket-holders. DD's also get a glass but are only allowed to partake in our non-alcoholic beverage options.

Q: Can I bring my kids?

A: This is a 21 and over event. ID's will be checked at the entrance.

Parking:

Q: Is event parking available at the Garden?

A: Parking at the Garden is only available for Grand Cru ticket holders and designated driver ticket holders. General Admission tickets do not include parking passes. We recommend you use one of these alternatives:

  • Use ridesharing such as Uber or Lyft
  • Park offsite at the designated lot: address to be announced
  • Buy a designated driver ticket which includes a parking pass
  • Buy a ticket for the Grand Cru Experience which includes a parking pass

Q: Will there be a shuttle to and from the event?

A: Yes!

  • Free shuttles will be available to return guests to the offsite parking location
  • More information on event transportation to come
