Join experienced tracker and author Mike Kresky on a search for animals tracks and sign around the garden. Increase your knowledge of animal movements during this basic introduction to track and sign identification. This course provides a tracking perspective as it applies to local flora and fauna, emphasizing a holistic perspective to the study of natural history.

Bring a sack lunch for a 30-minute lunch break.

Mike KreskyMike Kresky has many years of experience teaching outdoor education, field biology, leadership skills and natural history to all manner of diverse groups. He also leads tracking workshops and speaks engagements as it relates to his field guide authorship, artistry, and animal tracking. For the past 25 years Mike has immersed himself in the study of natural history and wildlife tracking. As a result he is a co-author of the UCPress Field Guide to Animal Tracks and Scat of California. As an outdoor enthusiast and educator Mike puts his artistry and field experience together to connect himself and others to the natural world. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Philosophy and Art from Jacksonville University. He also attended the Graduate School of Education at UCSB and was awarded a K-12 teaching credential.
