The Basics of California Native Plant Propagation

Have you had little success growing native plants from seed? After a brief introduction where you will learn about the biology of seeds, principles of seed propagation, seed dormancy-breaking techniques, and how to use specific tools and equipment, you'll be able to get your hands dirty in our Horticultural Nursery. The Garden's Plant Propagation Manager, Heather Wehnau will help you bring these techniques home.
