Image of Natalie LoveNatalie Love is a PhD student at UC Santa Barbara and studies the evolution of California's native plants. She is currently working to understand how California's jewelflowers (plants in the genus Streptanthus), will evolve in response to future climate change. She loves teaching and has experience teaching at many levels from junior high to college. As a Santa Barbara native, she enjoys botanizing in the mountains on weekends and geeking out in the Botanic Garden during all times of the year.
