Camp Wildflower

Each summer, the Garden offers two week-long sessions of Camp Wildflower: Where the Wild Things GROW! for children ages 6-12.
Day camps run from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday-Friday. Session One will be from July 15-19th; Session Two July 22-26. Activities include studies of plants and animals, hands-on learning about plant uses, art and craft projects, hikes, games, and more. Camp staff includes Botanic Garden botanists and naturalists as well as artists and naturalists from the community. Children bring their own lunch and water, but snacks are provided. A limited number of scholarships are available.

Camp Wildflower Teen Counselor Program:

Each year, teen counselors (ages 13-16) assist with Camp Wildflower. This is a wonderful opportunity for teens who have an interest in nature and working with children. Hours volunteered at the Garden's Camp Wildflower may be applied (with school counselor approval) toward the community service requirement for high school graduation. Applicants will be interviewed and are required to attend a training session in June. Download Teen Counselor Application.
