Santa Barbara, CA –The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is pleased to announce that it will host a special art show and sale on Sunday, June 27, 2010, from 11 am to 3 pm in the Blaksley Courtyard. Garden visitors will enjoy superb works by local artists, refreshments, and light music. Guest artists include: Ralph Waterhouse, Ray Hunter, Ellie Freudenstein, Rick Garcia, Frank Serrano, Paul Panossian, Priscilla Fossek, Camille Dellar, and Ann Sanders.
As a special treat, visitors will be able watch artists at work, have an opportunity to win a fabulous work, and to vote for their favorite art piece—a difficult choice among the exceptional works to be displayed. 35% of all proceeds from art sales will benefit the Botanic Garden’s education, research, conservation, and horticulture programs.
