Learn much about the diverse flora and fauna of the Central Coast. Explore wetland and sand dune habitats of the Guadalupe Dunes. On Saturday, hike on the scenic Pecho Coast Trail in southern San Luis Obispo County and visit the historic Point San Luis Lighthouse. Visit other fine wildflower locations. Participants will make their own hotel arrangements for Friday night. Further information will be provided upon registration.

Instructor Information
Steve Junak, the Garden's Herbarium Curator, is an active researcher and expert on the flora of the islands of California and Baja California. He holds an M.A. in botany, has led field trips for more than 25 years, and has co-authored several books on the Channel Islands. Look for Steve's trips to the Channel Islands for unique botanical experiences.
Sally Isaacson is the Garden's Director of Education. She holds a B.A. in natural sciences, an M.A. in botany, and teaching credentials. She has worked at the Garden since 1989 and has taught at a variety of levels for 30 years. Among her areas of responsibility are the Garden's Docent program, elementary school programs, and programs for children and families.

Fees include parking and light house entrance fees. To participate in one only, the fees are: Members: $40.00, Non Members $50.00. Please call the Registrar for more information.
