Tours at the Garden
Individuals
The Garden offers a number of self-guided and docent-guided options for individual garden visitors.
Self-guided Visits
Garden visitors may enjoy a self-guided walk which includes a complimentary map and directions from a trained visitor service representative.
There are also two self-guided theme tours for adults available on request:

Families with children ages 5-12
Daily Guided Tours
Guided Tours are scheduled on weekends at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and are included in admission. Tours are lead by a knowledgeable docent and generally last for one hour.
Additionally, the extension for reserving tours for groups of 10 or more is not 101, but is 102.
Groups
Self-guided Visits
To arrange self-guided group visits, contact the Garden receptionist for reservations and information at least two weeks in advance; (805) 682-4726 ext. 101. Groups of 10 or more receive a discount on admission with advance reservations.
Guided Group Tours
For reservations contact the Registrar at (805) 682-4726 ext. 102. Groups of 10 or more receive a discount with advance reservations.
