Make Friends among the Natives - become a Garden Volunteer!
Maybe you've had a yen to "get your hands in the dirt." Or perhaps you want to help things grow. You might enjoy enhancing our visitors' experience or you may be a "behind-the-scenes" type who wants to lend a hand. Whatever your motivation, we welcome your talent and enthusiasm.
Volunteers are an integral part of the Garden's success. Our volunteer group of nearly 200 men, women, and teens annually contributes in excess of 20,000 hours of service. Volunteers are crucial to our vitality, and we celebrate their numerous contributions annually at our Volunteer Recognition Luncheon.
You can make new friends while enjoying a relaxing, peaceful environment and becoming knowledgeable about the plant and animal life of our region. We provide the training and tools for you to be successful. If you enjoy a garden environment and want to use your talents, we encourage you to submit an application (below) indicating your interest. We invite you also to attend our New Volunteer Orientation programs held 3-4 times per year. Take a look at our Opportunities page to learn about the many roles that volunteers play at the Garden.
