Internships are available on a periodic basis and are designed to enhance a student’s experience in the fields of research, conservation, education and horticulture. Paid internships are tied to academics and include up to 300 paid hours of time in the Garden pursuing a specific project, with a presentation required at the end. Unpaid apprenticeships are concentrated on special training opportunities and may be used to fulfill academic requirements. Apprentices are considered volunteers.
