Garden Exploration: Bees and Blooms
Date: Saturday, June 20, 2015
Time: 10:00AM - 12:00PM
Instructor: Denise Knapp
Location: Garden Grounds
Did you know that California has over 1,400 species of native bees? How do our native flowers attract pollinators? What do black lights have to do with this class?
Each child registration includes a guided exploration romp through the Garden and time with microscopes or other fun tools in the lab.
Parents can register for the same price and join their child, or enjoy a leisurely light breakfast on the cottage deck. Parents must remain at the Garden while their child is in class, which gives you a chance to explore on your own if you prefer.
Children must be six years old or older.
