Did you know there are over a dozen species of lady beetles- do you know the best ones to attract to your garden and how?  Beyond Ladybugs, learn the many different species of insects and the specific pests that they control.  Hands on lab with high powered microscopes and insect samples, along with actual garden observation ensure that participants are prepared to use what they learn. Ideal for landscape professionals and dedicated home gardeners. Learn all about the insects like lady bugs and lacewings, birds, lizards and other helpful garden inhabitants that help keep harmful insects under control. Taught by Frederique Lavoipierre, Education Program Manager and author of Pacific Horticulture’s Garden Allies series.
