In an era characterized by increasing urbanization, nearly 99% of the Botanic Garden is comprised of open space and designed landscape exhibits. From its initial 13 acres to 78 acres today, it is a testament to the Botanic Garden's leadership over the past 81 years, that this space has been able to be made available for the public's enjoyment.
